Modernize Death Investigation in Idaho
Idaho's coroner system has changed very little over time. I support thoughtful, gradual modernization that raises standards while respecting the dedicated professionals currently serving communities throughout the state.
Improve Regional Forensic Resources
Southeast Idaho currently lacks a regional pathology center, requiring autopsies to be performed in Boise. This increases costs, delays answers, and adds additional stress for families.
I support building partnerships throughout Southeast Idaho to expand local forensic capabilities.
