My Story
 

I was born and raised in Pocatello, and my connection to this community runs deep.

My interest in death investigation began long before I knew it could become a career. As a toddler, I was run over by a truck and nearly lost my life. Although I don't remember the event itself, the trauma it caused my family profoundly shaped my childhood. I grew up hearing how close my family came to losing me and how grateful they were that I survived.
 

Loss was also a part of my family's story. My grandfather passed away when I was just three months old, and my brother's best friend died by suicide shortly after that. His school photo hung among our family photos throughout my childhood, reminding me that every loss leaves a lasting impact on the people left behind.
 

I also grew up hearing about several unsolved cases that affected our community, including those of Patricia Campbell, Tina Anderson, Linda Smith, Lynette Culver, and Cindy Bringhurst. Those stories stayed with me and helped shape my desire to pursue a career dedicated to helping families find answers.
 

Today, that passion has become a career path rooted in science, service, and compassion.
